Fire Risk Assessments
A comprehensive fire risk assessment of your workplace to identify the fire risks, the provision of an action plan to assist you to prioritise any shortcomings identified by the assessment and the timescales that you need to build into the assessment in order to address these shortcomings. We also provide a log book with every assessment to enable you to maintain all your fire safety maintenance records and staff training needs. We also offer annual fire risk assessment reviews
Fire Safety Training
The provision of fire safety training for members of your staff to become fire wardens. This course is usually of half a day's duration. In addition, Prevention1st offer a fire risk assessment course for managers and senior managers in order to gain an appreciation of the fire risks within their workplace. Further bespoke courses can be organized upon request.
Fire Safety Reviews and Audits
A fire safety review/audit of the existing fire safety provisions within your workplace to assist you to comply with current fire safety legislation.
Fire Safety on Construction Sites
Fire safety on construction sites is an area where there have been serious high profile fires which can set the construction work behind schedule, lead to bad publicity and large fire losses. We have a great deal of knowledge of identifying fire risks such as hot work and the management controls and fire reduction measures necessary to reduce the risk of fire occurring. We can also train members of your construction site to become fire watchers, fire wardens and fire coordinators and also carry out fire audits at your site to ascertain compliance with current fire safety legislation.
Fire Plans
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires that persons responsible for workplaces should have a written fire plan where there are five or more persons employed at their workplace. Prevention 1st offer competent staff to compile your fire plan to enable you to conform with legislation.
General Fire Safety Advice
At Prevention 1st Fire Safety we will do our best to provide you with honest and practical information and assistance on how you as an employer or responsible person can meet your fire safety obligations for your workplace. In addition we are prepared to visit your premises to supervise and monitor fire related issues such as fire drills and where necessary offer best practice recommendations for their improvement.
